Canterbury Branch Event - Use of Unit title or Fee Simple Ownership for Medium Density Developments

With the just confirmed direction from Government for Christchurch City Council to continue with Plan Change 14 and to allow greater heights and densities in and around the city centre and commercial centres, medium-density developments will become increasingly common. For many, these developments are a great opportunity to get on the property ladder with a modern, energy-efficient and low-maintenance house. As a profession we have a duty to work with solicitors and developers to ensure that property owners have an ownership structure that ensures their investments are protected now and well into the future when maintenance and insurance issues will arise.

The meeting will be hosted on 23rd May (Thursday) by Cavell Leitch in their offices at Level 3, BNZ Centre 111 Cashel Mall. Take the lift from the entrance off Cashel Street to Level 3. Parking at Lichfield St, Hereford Street and The Crossing car parks are also in close proximity.
